The gold standard in replication.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

CDs and DVDs are typically manufactured by combining various mined metals (aluminum, gold, silver and nickel) with petroleum-derived plastics, lacquers and dyes. Only specialized companies are capable of handling CD's and DVD's as recyclable material. Gold Link has established relations with such companies to help recycle this otherwise almost impossible recycling scenario.

Most disc cases are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and other similar plastic materials. We realize many of our customer require these for their products so we try to purchase cases that have a combination of raw and recycled material for use in our plant.

Gold Link encourages the use of our custom printed sleeves and digipak products which are all produced using recycled paper products and soy based inks.

Most CD and DVD companies utlilize toxic UV curable inks for printing the disc face. These not only create toxic fumes but inks are usually disposed directly into landfills. Gold Link's digital offset printing process uses electrostatic toner; there are no toxic fumes and all of the toner is used for printing with little or no waste.

Excess press sheets from our internal printing department are always recycled.

All cardboard material from incoming shipments is recycled daily. Our finished product packaging is always made with recycled material.
